Apple iBook G4by ~jimzip

It took me from 10:07 AM on Tuesday 25th until 1:28 that night/next morning to do, working solid. But it's finished. I'll post some wires if anyone's interested, but I couldn't not make this machine, especially after I got one last week.. It's a sexy piece of hardware no joke..
Modeled in Lightwave 3D 7.5, on a 1GHz iBook G4!

Hey is there any chance of you posting a tutorial on how to model this please cos im havin to model one soon for a project, so if ya could just msg me and lemme know, thanx and excellent work by the way..very very excellent!

I can't really make a tut for it at the moment.. I just don't have enough time at the moment, but maybe when I've finished my main piece for uni this year!
Really, what you could do is grab the different views of the iBook from Apple's website gallery ( [link] ), then put them as background images and model to them. It works really well, gives you the exact shape of the real thing..
Sorry about the tut.. I have no spare time..

But after my final piece is done I'll get around to doing that stuff!

Thats ok, and i was trying to model it today using the pics from apple.com as a refrence but got very stressed out when i cudnt do certain stuff and i gave up cos i was gonna burst a blood vessel..

lol the bad thing was that it was just simple boolean operations and tryin to seperate the different surfaces..
